    Lots of questions:

    1. Too little too late?

    2. How much is REALLY needed?

    3. Will this really fix anything, or just throw good money after bad?

    4. What happens to Ireland’s sovereignty? Not officially, but practically?

an aside: Perhaps that is the grand plan – make all the nations eventually dependent on and subservient to the European Elite – naw, it couldn’t be THAT!

    5. Who is going to bail out USA when we admit we are at the very edge of same precipice?

    6. etc.

I think you are on to something.

I intend blogging some more on the subject, using differing reports. However, I have to get ready to go on vacation. We are going on a cruise to New Zealand on Saturday. I will not be in contact for 2 weeks.

This is why I am very, very worried here in the U.S. about some of our states verging on bankruptcy. There is talk of the U.S. federal government bailing THEM out. But what will that do THEIR sovereignty? Will they then become extensions of the federal government?

I am appalled at the number of my fellow citizens who think the U.S. is a democracy. We are not, and never were. We are a representative republic. What will happen to this country if the federal government bails out (and takes over a la car companies?) some of these states?
